***February 20, 2009...INTO THE LAND OF NOD, a new full full length dramedy has been selected by Ensemble Studio Theatre (L.A.) for a reading as part of their prestigous WINTERFEST Program of play readings. The play will be read on MARCH 7, 2009, at 5:00PM at the Miles Playhouse, in Santa Monica, California. ***April 22, 2007...Afraid...a short play written for Middle Schoolers is being performed tonight at 7:00 PM at the Reuben Cordova Theatre on a program of shorts plays done in conjunction with the After-school acting/playwriting program instituted by Theatre 40 and the Beverly Hills School District. It will be directed by Dick Stampolis and feature young actors from various Middle Schools in the area.
***March 19 to March 23...Atonementon Public Radio! Classical Station KUSC (95.1) in Los Angeles has interviewed Richard Martin Hirsch about the play and is currently playing excerpts from the discussion at various times throughout the week during their "Spotlight on the Arts" segments. The play is directed by Howard Teichman and includes a stellar cast that features Meredith Bishop, Susan Morgenstern, Michael Oberlander, and Imelda Corcoran.
